Srinagar, Feb 27 (KNS): National Conference (NC) senior leader and MLC Qaiser Jamsheed Lone visited Maidanpora, Warnow to express his sympathy with the bereaved family of Mohd Ashraf and mudslide victims of Warnow, besides taking stock of the situation at Diver, Gundmancher, Hayatppra, Tekipora, Lalpora, Darpora, Rakhi and various other parts of Assembly constituency Lolab.
While interacting people it was Lone was told that government exists nowhere on ground, bills of all previous works under MGNREGA are being repeated by contractors belonging to ruling party, loot is everywhere, Gramsabha meetings have become a cruel joke, no heed paid to the recommendations thereof. PMAY enlistment has become an easy tool of the ruling party to exploited the poor people, deserving people r outright ignored by the government functionaries, electricity and water supply has become a dream of the people in the area despite of payment of huge bills against these so called basic amenities.
Lone warned the Government of dire consequences if people are left to this continued suffering. (KNS)
