Srinagar, Sep 10 (KNS): Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (TeH) chairman, Mohammad Ashraf Sehraie today visited Bomai Sopore where slain Hakeem-ur-Rehmaan Sultani was assassinated by the unidentified gunmen.
According to the statement issued to KNS, in his speech, he said, “going through the history one can come across a long list of traitors in the form of NC/PDP/Congress and other pro Indian supporters inflicting horrifying and flagitious crimes against the Kashmiris on daily basis.”
He further said that “these Indian supporters have mutually agreed to slaughter and crush people of Kashmir for the lust of chair and lavish life style.”
While expressing the his deep anguish and concern over the killing of unarmed and innocent Hakeem Ur Rehmaan Sultani, he said “butchering and massacring our youth on daily basis irrespective of being armed or unarmed exposing brutal and ugly face of Indian occupation and these local supporters.”
He cautioned the people to remain vigilant about the venomous conspiracies against the freedom struggle.
He said that “on the one side, the puppet authorities were brutally killing people and hundreds of Hurriyat leaders and activists had been sent to detention centres; on the other side, the pro-India politicians were busy staging election drama in the occupied territory.”
He said “whosoever participates in the sham elections provides an opportunity to Indian rulers to mislead the international community. They (rulers) are exploiting the people of Jammu and Kashmir.” (KNS)
