Srinagar Aug 21 (KNS): President of Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian, Hujjat-ul-Islam wal Muslimeen Aga Syed Hassan Al-Moosavi Al-Safavi today inaugurated a blood donation camp organized jointly by From Karbala to Humanity Blood Donation Group and Welfare Trust. On the occasion, the President himself donated blood, practically highlighting the values of human sympathy, sacrifice, and altruism.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Aga Sahib said that donating blood is a great humanitarian duty through which precious lives can be saved. In today’s times, when hospitals and patients are in dire need of blood, the services of blood donors are lifesaving for humanity. The President of Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian paid rich tributes to the efforts of From Karbala to Humanity Blood Donation Group and Welfare Trust, saying that these institutions are working with a true spirit of social service and welfare of humanity.
