Srinagar, Sep 18 (KNS): Power supply to several areas of Shopian will remain affected on September 20, 22, 24, 26, 28 and 30 due to scheduled maintenance shutdowns of two 33-kV transmission lines, officials said on Friday.
According to the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL), electricity supply in areas fed by the 33-kV Lassipora-Landoora line will remain affected from 9 am to 3 pm on September 20, 24 and 28.
The affected areas include Landoora, Hermain, Hajipora, Hotline Hermain, Mantribugh, Chakoora, Wachi, Aglar, Frisal, Mooman and adjoining areas.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Similarly, power supply to Town Arhama, Pinjoora, Kiloora, Imamsahib, Vehil, Nowgam, Reshinagari, Pahnoo, Shirmal, Mahanpora, Chowdrigund, Bemnipora and adjoining areas will remain affected from 9 am to 3 pm on September 22, 26 and 30.
The scheduled shutdowns are being carried out to facilitate maintenance work on the transmission lines, officials said.(KNS)
