Srinagar, Mar 22 (KNS): A mega plantation drive was organized by chairman PHD chamber Mukhtar Shah for Forest Ecology and Environment Committee (Kashmir region chapter) at historical Eidgah Srinagar on Friday.

The plantation drive was inaugurated by Mukhtar Shah Chairman of Forest Ecology and Environment Committee (Kashmir region chapter).

On the occasion many Chinar trees were planted.

Meanwhile locals of the area appreciated the initiative and said onus of protecting and preserving the environment which impacts flora and fauna lies on shoulder of every individual. (KNS)
