Srinagar, Jan 11, (KNS) People in J&K hailed the investigation launched by the Crime Branch.

 

Former MP and congress leader Professor Saifudin Soz welcomed the investigation set in motion by crime Branch.

Taking to KNS, he said that he had raised this issue earlier also and sought investigation into the racket.

“It will give relief to people. Now the investigation should be completed and all the culprits should be punished,” he said.

President Hotelier’s club, Mushtaq Ahmed Chaya said with the expose of nexus, influx of tourists will start in large numbers.

“Many tourists could not afford to come Kashmir. Airfares were too high for a normal tourist to afford. Delhi Srinagar was much costlier than a trip to USA or return trip to Dubai,” he said.

PHD chamber of Kashmir chairman Baldev Singh also welcomed the investigation launched by Crime Branch.

“I have come across lot of people who could not visit their families during exigencies.  We have already demanded the Srinagar-Jammu route be covered under Udaan scheme besides substantial increase in flight from and to Kashmir,” he told KNS.  (KNS)
