Srinagar, July 12 (KNS) Kashmir Chapter of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) hosted an interactive meeting with visiting SIDBI official, Mr. Sunil S, General Manager, and Mr. Dheeraj Verma, Assistant General Manager- Srinagar, to discuss key financial and developmental initiatives for Jammu & Kashmir. The session was chaired by Mr. A.P. Vicky Shaw, Chairman of PHDCCI Kashmir.
During the meeting, Mr. Shaw warmly welcomed the SIDBI delegation and commended the institution for its proactive role in advancing developmental projects across J&K. He particularly highlighted the successful initiatives in poultry development undertaken with SIDBI’s support and emphasized the need for continued collaboration to drive sustainable economic growth in the region.

A significant focus of the discussion was on empowering women entrepreneurs through targeted developmental projects. Both parties also agreed to launch an extensive outreach campaign to raise awareness about SIDBI’s diverse credit schemes, ensuring broader participation from the business community.
