Srinagar, Jan 09 (KNS): In a significant development, in Sonawari segment of Bandipora District of Northern Kashmir, over three dozen workers from Udina and Asham area who were affiliated with Opposition party here on Today joined PDP in presence of senior PDP leader District President and MLC Yasir Reshi.
MLC Yasir Reshi while addressing, welcomed the new entrants into the party fold said that party has always stood for the people and would continue to represent the aspirations of all the sections of the society. Yasir said that PDP is the only party which can mitigate the problems of people,
Yasir exuded hope that with the joining of workers, PDP would strengthen its base at the grassroots level in the area.
Reshi said that Local MLA was ignoring their concerns and not doing much for the development of the area.
Workers later expressing hope, said that they has decided to join the party due to pro-people and revolutionary policies of Yasir Reshi.
Workers added that Reshi working hand-in-hand with common people and therefore we have decided to strengthen his hands. (KNS)
