PDP Holds Special Session of Central Kashmir Office Bearers; Calls for Intensified Public Outreach

Srinagar, Dec 13 (KNS) : The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday convened a crucial special session of Central Kashmir office bearers under the chairmanship of Party Vice President Mohammed Sartaj Madni at the party headquarters in Srinagar, reaffirming the party’s firm resolve to aggressively strengthen its grassroots presence amid growing public disenchantment and political uncertainty.

In a statement issued, The meeting witnessed in-depth deliberations on organisational preparedness and key internal party matters. Addressing the gathering, Mohd Sartaj Madni underscored the urgent need for sustained mass public outreach, asserting that the PDP remains the only credible political force committed to safeguarding the rights, dignity, and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Madni emphasised that PDP cadres must remain vigilant, united, and proactive in confronting policies that have pushed the common people into distress. He said the party will continue to serve as a strong and uncompromising voice against injustice, marginalisation, and administrative apathy.

Speaking on the occasion were Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, Mohd Khurshid Alam, Adv Abdul Haq Khan, Adv Mohd Yousuf Bhat, Aasiya Naqash, Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi, Yasir Reshi, Mohammad Yaseen Bhat, Ab Qayoom Bhat, Mohit Bhan, and Arif Laigaroo, who reiterated the need for organisational unity and sustained engagement with the masses.(KNS)
