Anantnag ,jan 9 (KNS) : The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced important organizational appointments, strengthening its youth and women wings in south Kashmir.

Rouf Ahmed Seh has been appointed as Youth Zonal President, Doru, while Advocate Qurat-ul-Ain has been nominated as District President, Anantnag, of the PDP Women Wing.

Speaking to the media after his appointment, Rouf Ahmed Seh expressed gratitude to Party President Mahbooba Mufti , Youth President Advocate Aditya Gufta and In-charge Doru Constituency Mohammed Ashraf Malik and the party’s top leadership for reposing confidence in him. Meanwhile, Advocate Qurat-ul-Ain thanked Party President Mufti and Women Wing President Anjum Fazili, and Mohammed Ashraf Malik, and the entire PDP leadership for trusting her with the responsibility. She reaffirmed her commitment to empowering women, enhancing their political participation, and strengthening the party’s organizational structure across Anantnag district.

Party leaders and workers have welcomed the appointments, expressing hope that the new office bearers will further energize the party and contribute effectively to PDP’s outreach and organizational growth in the region.(KNS)
