Srinagar, Sept 28 (KNS): More than 1,200 children participated in a Seerah essay and quiz competition held at the historic Jama Masjid Srinagar on Sunday.
In a statement posted on X, Mirwaiz Kashmir Umar Farooq said the event reflected the enthusiasm of children to learn about the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad ?.
He said the best way to express “I Love Muhammad” is by instilling the Prophet’s values of honesty, kindness, compassion, integrity, and moral strength in children and youth.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“When our children imbibe these values in their life, it will lay the foundation of a sound and prosperous society in the real sense,” he said.
The competition, organised at Jama Masjid, saw large-scale participation of students from different areas of the Valley.(KNS).
