Permanent infrastructure subjected to availability of sufficient financial resources

Srinagar, Jan 16 (KNS): The government on Tuesday informed the legislative Assembly that it has not taken any decision so far to fully operationalise the new administrative units.
According to KNS correspondent, in a written reply to Assembly the government has said that though it intends to strengthen the newly created administrative units, but the creation of permanent infrastructure for all New administrative units created vide government order no.REV( S) 169 of 2014 dated 18.07.2014 is subjected to availability of sufficient financial resources. "No final decision has so far been taken to operationalise the new administrative units, in view of huge financial, manpower and infrastructural constrains implications involved," the government has said.
The government has also informed the house that though it has sanctioned 3120 posts to the newly administrative units, but 1577 posts are yet to be filled. (KNS)
