Srinagar, Sep 9 (KNS): The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar on Wednesday released the brochures for the 11th edition of the biennial International Conference on Nanotechnology for Better Living (NBL-2027), scheduled to be held at the institute from September 7 to 11, 2027.
The conference will be jointly organised by NIT Srinagar and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar in association with several national and international institutions, including AMITY New Delhi and Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST)-Kashmir.
NIT Srinagar Director Prof Anurag Misra released the brochures in the presence of faculty members and members of the organising team.
Speaking on the occasion, Misra said the conference would provide a platform for researchers, scientists, academicians and industry representatives to exchange knowledge and strengthen scientific collaborations.
He said NBL-2027 would bring together experts from India and abroad to discuss the latest developments in nanotechnology and allied fields, while promoting interdisciplinary research and technological applications.
Prof M A Shah, General Chair of NBL-2027, said the conference would strengthen the interface between scientific research, engineering and industry and provide opportunities to discuss recent findings, practical challenges and potential collaborations.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The conference will provide an interdisciplinary forum for participants to present research findings and innovations in nanotechnology and emerging technologies.
Programme Chair Prof Kowsar Majid said special emphasis would be laid on participation of students and young researchers through tutorials, oral presentations and poster sessions.
The NBL series has emerged as a major international scientific platform, with participation from researchers and institutions from several countries.
The 2027 edition will feature plenary lectures, keynote addresses, oral presentations and poster sessions covering various aspects of nanotechnology and allied fields. Eminent scientists, researchers and science advisers from India and abroad are expected to participate as invited speakers.
The conference will be coordinated by scientists from different institutions, with Prof Kowsar Majid as Programme Chair and Dr Aamir Ahsan and Dr Anshul Gupta as Organising Chairs.
The organisers said NBL-2027 is expected to attract a large number of scientists, researchers, academicians, students and industry representatives from India and abroad.(KNS)
