NC pays tributes to Advocate Ghulam Nabi Dar

Srinagar, Jul 05 (KNS): National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah on Friday paid glowing tributes to Former MLA Kulgam, Advocate Ghulam Nabi Dar on his 13th death anniversary. Dar had lost his life in a grenade blast at Kulgam in July 2006.

Party president while paying glowing tributes to the late leader said, “An honest politician, an accomplished advocate, Dar Sahib was a sincere soldier of party. He had dedicated his life for the socio-political emancipation of the downtrodden people of his constituency. He shall be remembered for his industrious and undemanding personality. On this day I pay my glowing tributes to him. May almighty grant him highest place in Jannat.”

Party vice president in his message applauded the role played by the Late Ghulam Nabi Dar in the development of his constituency. “The jinxed fate of our state snatched a committed and an ace political figure from us in his shape, on this day I pay my glowing tributes to him,” he said. It is pertinent to mention here that the late leader was the illustrious father of provincial spokesperson, Constituency In-charge Kulgam Imran Nabi Dar. In view of the observance of the death anniversary of the late leader a Majlis of Fatiha Khawani will be held at his grave yard. A commemorative function shall also be held in this connection in Kulgam.

Meanwhile party general secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, provincial president Nasir Aslam Wani, additional general secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustufa Kamal, senior leaders Abdul Rahim Rathar, Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan, Sakina Itoo, Dr. Bashir Ahmad Veeri, Abdul Majeed Bhat Larmi, Altaf Kaloo, Salman Ali Sagar, and Ahsan Pardesi have also paid glowing tributes to the late leader and prayed for peace to his soul.

Meanwhile party president and vice president have also expressed grief over the demise of noted personality former J&K Bank Chairman Munshi Ghulam Hassan, who breathed his last on 3rd of July 2019. Party president made a phone call to the grieved family to express his solidarity with them in their hour of grief.

The duo has prayed for peace to the soul of deceased. Party’s general secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar also expressed grief over the demise of former JK bank chairman. He prayed for peace to the soul of deceased and strength to the grief stricken family to bear the inconsolable loss. Party general secretary visited the grieved family to express his unison with them in their hour of grief. (KNS)
