NC misled people again, CM Omar mixes narrative with BJP whenever needed: Vivek Bali

Srinagar, Jan 05(KNS): The UT President of the Sohildev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), Vivek Bali, on Monday condemned attacks on Kashmiri vendors working outside the Union Territory, asserting that the centuries-old Hindu-Muslim brotherhood should not be disrupted for political gains.

Speaking to KNS, Bali said, “Whatever is happening to Kashmiri vendors who go out to work, we condemn it. It should not be like that. Everyone’s ideology should be respected, and everything should be fine.” He added that it was not appropriate for political leaders to make statements for personal or party gain, stressing that such politics would not succeed in Jammu and Kashmir.

Bali criticised the National Conference (NC) and its leadership, claiming that promises made to the people had remained unfulfilled. “See how many promises the NC has made—whether about electricity, deliveries, or cylinders—but they are not visible on the ground. People now know these are empty promises, made only during elections,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

He also accused NC leaders, including Farooq Abdullah and his son Omar Abdullah, of projecting different messages depending on the region. “When Omar Abdullah goes to Delhi, he mixes his narrative with the BJP’s. When he goes to Jammu, he says something else, and in Kashmir, something else again. Like Farooq Abdullah before him, this is a big conspiracy,” Bali alleged.

The SBSP leader reaffirmed his party’s plans for the upcoming panchayat elections, stating that it would contest all seats in Jammu and Kashmir. “Whether in Jammu or Kashmir, the SBSP will stand in all panchayats with full confidence and challenge other regional parties,” he said.

Bali emphasised that the communal harmony between Hindus and Muslims in the region had endured for centuries and would continue. “Our brotherhood has always existed and will continue. Politics of division will not work here. People can see through hollow promises,” he added.(KNS).
