Srinagar, Sep 20 (KNS): A meeting of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) Legislature Party was held at the Banquet Hall here on Sunday ahead of the Autumn Session of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly.
The meeting was chaired by JKNC president Dr Farooq Abdullah and attended by party vice president and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
Six Congress MLAs also participated in the meeting as part of deliberations ahead of the Assembly session, which is scheduled to begin on Monday.
The legislators discussed the legislative business expected to come up during the session and deliberated on various issues of public importance, including matters related to public welfare, development and governance.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Dr Farooq Abdullah called upon the legislators to maintain close coordination and ensure that the concerns and aspirations of the people are effectively raised in the House.
He stressed the need for constructive participation and focused engagement on issues concerning the people.
The members also discussed their priorities for the forthcoming session and underlined the importance of coordinated participation in the proceedings of the Assembly.(KNS)
