Srinagar, May 24 (KNS): Lashing out at State Govt for withdrawing accommodation and security cover of Congress Party Leaders, the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee, Vice President & MLC G. N. Monga today condemned the attitude of the Govt towards the opposition, saying that the accommodation and Security of Congress leader only were being withdrawn to settle political scores on the part of ruling party.
Quoting an example Monga said that Congress Leader Mohd Yousuf Bhat who was in possession of Govt accommodation in Tulsi Bagh have been thrown out under the garb of some Court Order, while as the Members of ruling party PDP namely Peer Nazir Ahmad, who was also putting up in same block was allowed to remain there, which is the worst kind of political vendetta against Congress Party.
Coming down heavily on State Govt for adopting dual standards on this count also, Monga emphasized that adequate security cover and accommodation to Congress leaders be ensured without any discrimination, as that, it is the Congress Leaders and activists only, who were being victimized under the garb of Security or accommodation.
