Srinagar, Sep 03 (KNS): Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, has expressed deep sorrow on the demise of the noble and pious wife of the late Khwaja Sheikh Ghulam Muhammad of Hawal Srinagar (presently Hamza Hills, Nishat), a prominent businessman of Kashmir and a long-time well-wisher of the Mirwaiz family.
At the Central Jama Masjid Srinagar, Mirwaiz led the funeral prayers of the deceased, which were attended by a large gathering of well-wishers members of bussiness fraternity and people from the locality.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelOn the occasion, he prayed for her forgiveness and highest place in Jannah, while extending heartfelt condolences to her worthy sons Sheikh Feroz Ahmad, Sheikh Zafar Ahmad, Sheikh Zahoor Ahmad, Sheikh Muhammad Saeed, assuring them of his full sympathy and support in this hour of grief.
He further remarked that the Sheikh family, including the late Sheikh Ghulam Mohamad and his sons, have always had a deep and unbreakable association with the pulpit and mihrab of the Jama Masjid Srinagar.(KNS)
