Srinagar, Mar 25 (KNS): The Chief patron of Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil and the incarcerated Chairman of All Party Hurriyat Conference, Mirwaiz Doctor Moulvi Mohammad Umar Farooq has condoled the demise of Prof. Doctor Abdur Rashid Khan R/O Soura Srinagar and the wife of famous business figure Khawaja Ghulam Mohiuddin Mirza, Nigeen.
While paying rich and glorious tributes to the deceased persons and prayed for their Janatul Firdous and forbearance to the deceased family members to bear this irreparable loss, has further said that Darul Khair is equally sharing the grief and sorrow with the bereaved families.
While, the Mirwaiz Umar Farooq could not participate in the Nimazi Jenaza (funeral prayer) as he remained continuously under house detention. However, on his directions, a high level delegation of the Darul Khair participated in the Nimazi Jenaza and attended the condolences meetings respectively.
The Mirwaiz, in the meanwhile, remembers the contributions of Late Prof. Abdur Rashid Khan and Mr. Ghulam Mohiuddin Mirza during the deluge occurred in the year 2014 in Kashmir Valley and also their help and assistance rendered to Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil while offering substantial contributions for the rehabilitation of the flood victims. He said that these respectable citizens have always shown their willingness to be in forefront in this gigantic task and upliftment of the victims which will be remembered always in the days to come.
