Srinagar, Dec 04 (KNS): Mirwaiz Kashmir, Dr. Molvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, visited several bereaved families in Srinagar on Thursday to offer condolences and prayers for the departed.
He expressed grief over the demise of Dr. Muhammad Maqbool Bhat, father-in-law of senior legal expert Advocate Nazir Ahmad Ronga. The Mirwaiz visited the family residence and conveyed sympathy to Dr. Nazir Ahmad Bhat, Muhammad Umar Maqbool Bhat, and Advocate Ronga. The Mirwaiz also condoled the passing of Mir Tahir Zia of Sanat Nagar, praying for eternal peace for the deceased and patience for the family.
In another condolence message, he expressed sorrow over the tragic death of young Muhammad Faiq Ahmad Kena of Iqbal Colony, HMT, who lost his life in a road accident. He prayed for strength and comfort for the grieving family.(KNS)
