Srinagar, August 9 (KNS) : Former Chief Minister and PDP President Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday visited the residence of Greater Kashmir Editor-in-Chief Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo to offer her condolences on the demise of his sister.
She was accompanied by PDP spokesperson Iqbal Tramboo, Qayoom Bhat, Yaseen Bhat, senior party leader Arif Laigroo, Dr. Ali Mohammad, Bilal Sofi, Fayaz Reshi, Umar Dar, and Naseema Akhter (wife of Mir Ghulam Qadir).
The deceased was the sister of Ghulam Hassan Kaloo, Editor The Mirror of Kashmir, Dr.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelFarooq Ahmad Kaloo, and Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo, Editor Greater Kashmir. She was also the mother of Mir Aijaz Ahmad, Editor Kashmir Canvas.
She passed away on Friday, 8th August, at 7:45 p.m. after a prolonged illness at SKIMS Hospital, Soura.
Mehbooba Mufti and the accompanying leaders prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family in this hour of grief.(KNS)
