Srinagar, August 16 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti, has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Misra Begum, mother of noted Islamic scholar and Rector of Darul Uloom Raheemiyyah, Bandipora, Moulana Rehmatullah Mir Qasmi.

Family sources said that Misra Begum passed away on Friday evening at her residence in Nibripora after a prolonged illness.

Her passing leaves an irreplaceable void. I pray that Allah (SWT) grants her the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and forgives her shortcomings,” she said.
