Mohammad Yasin Malik whose neck has been injured in yesterday’s assault was going to see a doctor who had given him an appointment at 4:00, when he heard about a youth who was hit on head by a police shell at Bijbehara Islamabad.
Mohammad Yasin Malik reached Soura hospital and visited the injured youth Naseer Ahmad who is still in ICU.
Mohammad Yasin Malik enquired about his condition and expressed solidarity with his family. After visiting the injured youth, Yasin sahib came out of the Soura hospital. On the occasion the behavior of police was highly objectionable, callous and uncivilized. It seemed that police officers in order to prove themselves more loyal than the king were willing to go to any extent. Earlier while talking to the family members of the injured youth Naseer Ahmad Dar of Bijbihara ,Yasin Malik said that police and forces have unleashed a reign of terror on common people and it seems that police is trying to prove itself more loyal than the king and has crossed every limit of oppression. He said that so-called rulers and their forces and police must bear in mind that according to the law of nature they will have to pay for their crimes against humanity. He said that recently forces fired upon some youth at Awantipora injuring three innocent boys among which one is the son of famous photo journalist Javed Ahmad Dar.
He said that all these atrocities and oppressions are a glaring example of growing frustration of rulers who for pity gains have sold out their conscience to the forces of hatred and fanaticism.
Meanwhile a JKLF spokesman has termed the arrest of injured and ailing JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik as worst kind of state sponsored terrorism and said that stopping an ailing person to meet doctor and also visiting an injured person shows the degradation of so-called rulers who day in and day out raise slogans like battle of ideas “ . Spokesman said that if any harm is done with Yasin Malik, responsibility of every worsening situation will lie upon the rulers.
Meanwhile JKLF vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi has also been placed under house arrest from last night. Police and forces raided the residence of Showkat Bakhshi last late night and placed him under house arrest. (KNS)
