Handwara, Sept 6(KNS): The Handwara Media Association on Saturday conducted its body elections, resulting in the selection of new office bearers.
Aatif Qayoom was elected President, securing 15 votes, defeating his rival Syed Kabeer Geelani, who received 12 votes.

Syed Imtiyaz was elected Vice President, winning 15 votes against Shameem Bhat, who polled 12 votes.
The election proceedings were witnessed by Tehsildar Langate Mohammad Ismail and SHO Qalamabad Mohammad Ashraf, among other dignitaries.(KNS).
