Srinagar, May 06 (KNS): The fruit growers and dealers association Mawer held a prayer meeting at the holy shrine of Peer Baba Syed Abdul Wahab Shahnagri Mawer.

The participants held discussions over the challenges of the fruit growers and vis-à-vis the present situation in Kashmir valley.

Special prayers were also offered for restoration of peace and prosperity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

President fruit growers and dealers association Mawer Raja Akbar presided over the meeting and attended among others by Secretary Farooq Ahmad Ganaie, Abdul Rashid Malik, Nazir Ahmad Mir, Mohammad Shafi Rather, Habibullah Sheikh, Abdul Majid Wani, Ghulam Rasool Dar and Nazir Ahmad Malik. (KNS)
