Srinagar, Feb 03 (KNS): The maternal aunt of incarcerated leader Shabir Ahmad Shah passed away this morning. Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) has paid rich and glowing tributes to the deceased soul.
A party delegation led by Advocate Fayaz Sodagar visited the residence of the deceased, Saleema Khaki wife of late Ghulam Ahmad Khaki at Nai Basti Anantnag (Islamabad) and attended her funeral prayers (Nimaz-e-Jinaza).
Later the delegation met the close relatives of the deceased and expressed their condolence and solidarity with them.
The delegation members said that Shabir Shah should have himself present at Anantnag but he is undergoing incarceration in the infamous Tihar jail, Delhi for demanding right to self determination for his nation and he is being punished for his genuine political stance.
The delegation members while praying for the forgiveness of the deceased soul appealed the present people to pray for the safety and release of Shabir Shah. (KNS)
