Srinagar, Dec 18 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Mansoor Hussain Sohrawardhy on Tuesday expressed heartfelt grief at the conflagration of Gurudawara Singh Sabha, Samandari hall, in south Kashmir Chatisinghpora.
In a statement issued to KNS, Mansoor termed the fire incident tragic and deeply disturbing. Asking the local administration to restore the pristine glory of the revered place, Mansoor also urged the Muslim population of the area to come forward and ensure all possible help in the restoration job.
The PDP leader also pitched for the installation of comprehensive fire extinguishing system in religious places across the state so that such dreadful incidents are avoided in future. (KNS)
