Srinagar, October 16 (KNS): On the completion of one year of the Omar Abdullah government in Jammu and Kashmir, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhry said that the mandate is for five years, and before heading into the next election, "we will have our manifesto in one hand and proof of our work in the other. The entire cabinet will sit together and answer your questions."
Talking to the media, as per the KNS correspondent, he said that the people have given us a five-year mandate. “After five years, the entire cabinet will sit together and explain what we achieved,” he said.
He said, “In one hand, we will hold our manifesto; in the other, we will hold proof of the work we completed.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelWe will present the list of works we have done, alongside the unfinished tasks left behind by the BJP-PDP and LG administration.”
He also said that whenever we raise questions to the Lieutenant Governor, BJP leader Sunil Sharma appears to be the spokesperson for both the Raj Bhavan and the BJP-PDP alliance.
“On one day Sunil Sharma gives a statement, the next day Mehbooba Mufti says the same thing, and on the third day, Sajad Lone repeats it. On the fourth day, some other leader says it again. All these people were together when the state of Jammu and Kashmir was downgraded to a Union Territory. They did it together, and now they act as if they are separate,” he added. (KNS)
