Doctors serving in same post for over three years may be transferred; Compensation assured for injured temporary staff
Handwara, July 31 (KNS): A major reshuffle is expected in the Health and Education Departments, with transfers likely for doctors who have been serving in the same posting for more than three years. The move is aimed at improving efficiency and ensuring rotation in services.
During her visit to Handwara on Thursday, Minister Sakina Itoo said that transfers are a routine and necessary process in every department. “Transfers should take place every two to three years. Sakina was in Handwara to offer condolences to the families affected by a recent tragic incident. She assured that compensation will be provided to the temporary employees who were injured in the accident. “The process for compensation will be initiated through GMC at the earliest,” she said.
On the occasion, Cabinet Minister Javed Ahmad Dar, MLA Chaudhary Muhammad Ramzan, and other officials were also present.(KNS)
