Srinagar, Mar 17 (KNS): The aspirants for engagements as contractual lecturers in higher secondary schools and colleges are upset over the delay caused by the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) in the issuance of advertisement notice and forms for engagement of university pass outs as lectures in higher secondary schools and degree colleges.
A legion of aggrieved aspirants told Kashmir News Service (KNS) over phone that model code of conduct (MCC) should not have come in the way of the government in the issuance of advertisement notice and application forms for engagement of eligible candidates as lecturers in higher secondary schools and colleges keeping in view the shortage of teaching staff in higher secondary schools and colleges in the state.
Saying that even after March 15 the government does not bother to issue the much awaited advertisement notice and forms for engagement of contractual lecturers in higher secondary schools and colleges the aggrieved aspirants said that authorities blaming the implementation of the model code of conduct (MCC) for delay in issuing advertisement notice and forms instead of taking up the issue with the Election Commission of India (ECI) is regrettable.
They sought the intervention of Governor Satya Pal Malik for early issuance of the advertisement notice and forms keeping in view the academic interests of thousands of student and thousands of university pass outs waiting for jobs with post doctoral degrees in their hands. (KNS)
