Srinagar, Aug 27 (KNS): Lt Gen A K Bhatt, General Officer Commanding, Chinar Corps Monday visited the Amarnath Yatra route and complimented the security forces on successful completion of the Yatra.
Accompanied by General Officer Commanding Victor Force and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Range, he complimented all the security forces deployed for ensuring incident free Yatra and the safety of the Yatris.
He also appreciated their efforts in smooth conduct of the Yatra and congratulated all the personnel from Army, CRPF, BSF, ITBP and J&K Police who remained steadfast and vigilant all throughout in spite of the harsh weather conditions.
The General Officer also expressed his gratitude towards the people of Kashmir for welcoming the Yatris from all over the country as their own family and looking after them, making the pilgrimage a huge success. (KNS)
