Apprises Minister about problems, issues the fraternity is faced with

Jammu, Feb 13 (KNS): A high level delegation of lecturers forum led by its acting president Deepak Sharma, under the instructions of its State president Dr. Manzoor Ahmad, met the Minister for Education Syed Altaf Bukhari at his residence in Jammu.
The delegation apprised the Minister about the problems and issues the fraternity is faced with. The main issues discussed were grant of running grade pattern (time bound) in favour of +2 lecturers, regularization of I/C lecturers, I/C principals, release of principals list which is pending in the department since 2015, placement of lectures as sr. lecturers, restoration of 40% quota in higher education department and higher initial start in favour of high qualified lecturers (P.hd's & M. phils).
The Minister gave patient hearing and assured the delegation of early possible redressal of the issues. The delegation hailed the assurance given by Education Minister.
Meanwhile the delegation thanked the Education Minister for accepting the invitation of gracing the occasion of Annual lecturers day function to be observed on April 9th 2018.
According to the statement of the forum, the settlement of some of the issues shall be done in near future and the formal announcement to this effect might be made on lecturers day by the Education Minister Syed Altaf Bukhari himself.
