Srinagar, Oct 21 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir lecturers Forum expresses deep anguish over placement of Non-Gazzetted Pathwaris’ to supervise the functioning of Gazzetted Officers in the upcoming Board Examinations.
In an emergency meeting held under the chairmanship of its state president Dr Manzoor, the Jammu and Kashmir Lecturers Forum repressed its dismay over the decision of some SDMS of assigning the magisterial duty to Pathwaris’, who are much lower in rank, in the upcoming Board Examinations.
While condemning this surprising decision, Dr. Manzoor said that when the lecturers have conducted examination successfully during the critical periods, why the Government underestimates our competence now.
“The decision has aggrieved whole community and apparently will disturb the smooth conduct of examination”, Dr. Manzoor said. He appeals the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir and Advisor Khursheed Ganai to intervene into the matter so that the examination is conducted in smooth and cordial manner.
Meanwhile the forum demanded stern action against the concerned SDM for his non serious execution of duties. (KNS)
