LeT condemns ban on Jamaat-e-Islami in JK

Srinagar, Mar 01 (KNS): Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) Friday strongly condemned the ban imposed on Jamat-e-Islami in Jammu Kashmir by India.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, LeT Chief Dr. Abdullah Ghaznawi quoted the outfit chief, Mahmood Shah as saying “India which was recently complaining about Geneva Convention on the status of release of Abhinandan is now turning away from humanity.”
“The innocent Hurriyat leadership captive in Indian jails should also be released because they also did not commit any crime in war. Arresting the innocents is law of the jungle. Why is it that the Geneva Convention is not implemented in this scenario?! Why is it that the daughter of Kashmir Aasiyah Andarabi is held captive in Tihar jail?! It is usual for Indian mobs in jails to harass and beat Kashmiri captives,” he said.
Shah further said that “the martyrdom of Shakirullah is evident enought to expose the terror face of India. Why is it that the media and analysts of India repeating their rhetoric of humanity have blindfolded themselves on illegal and unjust arrests of Kashmiris?! In reality, India lacks humanity and ethics thereby using terrorism as a weapon.”
“While Pakistan is showing peace-gesture by releasing Abhinandan, India at the same time is trying to sabotage the Article 35-A which is the constitutional right of Kashmiris,” he said while applauding and appreciated the peace gesture of Pakistan and suggested “Pakistan to take measures for any India's future aggression and war mongering. It is the norm of Indian forces to attack from behind.” (KNS)
