Appeals World HR bodies to take notice of atrocities in JK

Srinagar, Jan 24 (KNS): Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) on Wednesday appealed people to observe Jan 26 (Republic Day of India) as the ‘black day’, appealing the world HR bodies to take notice of atrocities in Jammu and Kashmir.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, LeT spokesman, Dr Abdullah Ghaznawi quoted the outfit chief, Mahmood Shah, said, “India is a terrorist state which has jeopardized the freedom of Kashmiris since 7 decades, a violation of basic human right. More than 5 Lakh innocent Kashmiris have been martyred since Indian forces illegally occupied Jammu Kashmir. “
“Thousands of honorable Mothers and Daughters of the nation have their honor tattered. Thousands of young Kashmiris have been crippled for life. The Hurriyat Leaders are often harassed, arrested and even martyred so as to sabotage the indigenous Freedom Struggle,” he said.
“India is plotting new vicious plans on the advent of Republic Day (Black Day). Those honest to the freedom struggle are being threatened. There is a probability that some of the youth are forced by gun to speak the words of India on the Republic Day (Black Day) in Srinagar. We are very well aware of such plots. The Martyrs are our mentors. We will never let anyone hurt their heirs,” he said.
Shah appealed to the world's humanitarian organizations to take notice of “India's severe human rights violations and atrocities in Jammu Kashmir.” (KNS)
