Srinagar, Jun 13 (KNS): PDP youth secretary Arif Laigaroo has paid rich tributes to journalist Shujaat Bukhari, who was killed by unidentified gunmen last year in Press Enclave.

On 14 June last year, senior Kashmiri journalist Shujaat Bukhari was killed by unidentified gunmen outside his office. Shujaat Bukhari was the editor of Rising Kashmir, and a leading voice for peace, justice, and rights in Kashmir and Indo-Pakistan peace.

Paying tributes, Laigaroo prayed departed soul and termed him a big loss for Kashmir and journalistic fraternity. He remembered Shujaat Bukhari as a brilliant journalist and above all a kind soul. (KNS)
