Srinagar, Jun 23 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Awami National Conference president Begum Khalida Shah on Saturday took a strong exception to the charges of BJP chief Amit Shah against National Conference founder late Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah and declared that she would file a defamation suit against the BJP president to teach him a lesson on dragging the name of the most popular leader of Jammu and Kashmir into an unwanted controversy.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Khalida Shah also condemned the remarks of BJP leader and former minister Chowdhary Lal Singh in which he has warned Kashmiri journalists for what he called ‘creating a wrong narrative’ on Kathua minor rape case.
It is in place to mention here that Amit Shah has alleged that the wealth of Abdullah family is more than the wealth of the entire population of Jammu and Kashmir and if investigated many surprising revelations can come to the fore. (KNS)
