Srinagar, Aug 17 (KNS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday spoke to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and apprised him of the rescue and relief measures underway in Kathua district following the devastating rain-triggered landslides.
The LG conveyed his deep anguish over the tragic loss of lives and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. He directed senior civil and police officials to ensure coordinated rescue and relief operations with on-site medical care in the affected areas.
