Kashmiri students in Bangladesh requests GoI to come to their rescue amid COVID-19 epidemic

Srinagar, Mar 25 (KNS): Hundreds of Kashmiri students from Bangladesh requested Government of India to take concrete measures for their return to Kashmir and come to their rescue in wake of COVID-19 that has engulfed the entire world.
A group of students studying in Bangladesh shot few lines to Kashmir News Service (KNS) and expressed the situation they have gone through.
“We the Kashmiri students studying in different Medical Colleges of Bangladesh appeal you to put forward our request to Government of India. We are in a very difficult situation. We want to go back to our native places because the condition in Bangladesh is worsening day by day and we are no longer safe here but all the international flights are suspended and all borders have been closed. There is complete lockdown in Bangladesh and India as well, so we can’t go anywhere of our own. There are about 200 students who are stuck here and we are about 30 students from Comilla”.
Students further said, “Put forward our request to Government of India so that it will take steps for our rescue”. (KNS)
