Srinagar, Mar 18 (KNS): Hurriyat Conference (M) Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Monday said resolution of Kashmir dispute is the safeguard of human rights for all in Kashmir and peace in the region.
Mirwaiz in a tweet said that the HR report by US State department of human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir and calling for removal of Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA) is an acknowledgment of what people & leadership have been saying.
"The US State Department HR report of widespread human rights violations in J&K & calling for removal of AFSPA is an acknowledgment of what people & leadership have been saying. Resolution of Kashmir dispute is the safeguard of human rights for all in #Kashmir &peace in the region," Mirwaiz tweeted. (KNS)
