Srinagar, Nov 2 (KNS) : The Kashmir Sub Area Cricket Tournament 2025, organised by the Indian Army in collaboration with the NGO Saving the Future, concluded at the Chattabal Military Garrison, Srinagar, on Sunday.
The week-long tournament featured eight teams from across Srinagar, bringing together local youth to showcase their cricketing skills and sportsmanship. Over 700 spectators attended the matches, creating an atmosphere of community engagement and enthusiasm.
In the final match, Rainawari Wonder Boys defeated Chattabal Spartans by eight wickets to lift the championship trophy after a closely contested game.

Both officials felicitated the winners and participants, appreciating their performance and commitment to the spirit of fair play.
The tournament was aimed at engaging the youth of Kashmir through sports and encouraging harmony, teamwork, and healthy competition. According to the organisers, the event reflects the Indian Army’s continuing efforts under the Chinar Corps to promote youth development and social integration through sporting initiatives.
