Mumbai, June 28, (KNS): Actress and model Shefali Jariwala, who rose to fame in the early 2000s with the hit music video Kaanta Laga and later appeared in Bigg Boss 13, has tragically passed away at the age of 42 from a sudden cardiac arrest.

She was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri late on June 27 by her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, and friends, but was pronounced dead on arrival .

Shefali’s career included notable appearances in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), dance reality shows like Nach Baliye seasons 5 (2013) and 7, and reality TV including Boogie Woogie and her standout stint on Bigg Boss 13 as a wild-card entry in November 2019 . Born on December 15, 1982, Shefali was more than a screen presence—she was open about her personal battles, including epilepsy since age 15, which she managed alongside a successful fitness journey and career in entertainment .
