New Delhi, July 24 (KNS): AICC General Secretary (Organisation) K.C. Venugopal has extended heartfelt congratulations to J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Tariq Ahmad Karra for leading a highly successful and impactful Delhi Chalo Yatra.

The march was organized under the banner Hamari Riyasat Hamara Haq, aimed at reiterating the Indian National Congress' firm demand for the restoration of complete statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.

Reaffirming the Indian National Congress' commitment to the people of J&K, Shri Venugopal assured complete support from the AICC to JKPCC in its ongoing struggle. “The Congress party stands firmly with the people of Jammu and Kashmir. We will continue to extend every possible support to the JKPCC leadership until full statehood is restored,” he stated.

The Delhi Chalo Yatra has drawn national attention, serving as a reminder of the unresolved concerns following the abrogation of Article 370 and the downgrading of Jammu and Kashmir’s status.

The Congress party has consistently demanded the reversal of these decisions and the reinstatement of democratic and constitutional rights to the region.(KNS)
