Seeks revival plan for J&K cements

Srinagar, Feb 4 (KNS):  National Conference MP Justice Hasnain Masoodi today demanded revocation of abrogation of Article 370 and statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.

He said this during his speech in budget session of Parliament.
He called the abrogation of Article 370 as historical blunder and said time will prove it as a wrong decision.
Justice Masoodi criticised the central government for unilaterally breacvhing the commitments of GOI of 1947, 1952, and 1975 with people of J&K.
“Nothing has changed in Kashmir. Situation in Kashmir is same, infact worse than before.  This is the reason a guided tour of foreign ambassadors was taken to Kashmir besides European parliamentarians to show normalcy here. Our demand is undue the decision and restore status enjoyed by J&K before August 5,” he told KNS.
In his speech, he also demanded a revival plan for J&K cements- a state Govt undertaking.
“There are reports that Government will shut the J&K cements. This is source of bread and butter for 400 families. Rather than shutting it, a revival plan should be formulated at earliest,” he said.
He also raised the issue of a medical student of Prichil pulwama who is stranded in Wuhan state of China which is the epicentre of Coronovirus.
His return should be facilitated at earliest as GOI has already facilitated return of other citizens of India, he said.  (KNS)
