Jammu, Sep 14 (KNS): Jammu Division of Northern Railway on Monday began Rajbhasha Pakhwada 2026 to promote the progressive use of Hindi as the official language in official work.

The fortnight-long programme, being held from September 14 to 30, is being organised under the guidance of Additional Divisional Railway Manager and Chief Rajbhasha Officer Akshay Kumar Marantu and Rajbhasha Officer Sunil Kumar Badoni.

Various activities, including Hindi workshops, essay writing, poetry recitation, noting and drafting, quiz and speech competitions, will be held during the Pakhwada.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The division will also organise meetings and inspections of Rajbhasha Implementation Committees at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra station and the divisional level.

The programme will conclude with a prize distribution and valedictory ceremony, where winners of various competitions will be felicitated by the Divisional Railway Manager.

The Jammu Division has appealed to officers and employees to maximise the use of Hindi in official work during the Pakhwada.(KNS)
