Jammu, Dec 29 (KNS): The Commercial Department employees of Northern Railway’s Jammu Division were honoured on Sunday with the Principal Chief Commercial Manager (PCCM) Award 2025 for their exceptional contribution to passenger services and railway revenue.
The award ceremony was held at the General Manager’s Office, Baroda House, New Delhi, where the honours were presented by the Principal Chief Commercial Manager, Northern Railway on 29 December 2025. The award recognises the staff’s dedication, professionalism, and high standards in their field of work.
This prestigious award is given every year to Commercial Department employees who show outstanding performance, innovation, and sincerity in duty. Importantly, this is the first time since the establishment of Jammu Division in 2025 that its Commercial Department staff have received the PCCM Award, marking a major milestone for the newly formed division.
The awardees have played a key role in improving services across areas including passenger assistance, freight operations, ticket checking, and other commercial responsibilities. The honoured employees include: Manzoor Ahmad (Chief Commercial Clerk, Anantnag), Prince Sharma (CCTC, Budgam), Vijay Kumar (CCTC, Katra), Vanshika R. Saxena (Chief Commercial Clerk, Katra), Nitin Patwal (CCTC, Jammu), Naresh Singh (CCTC, Jammu), Devanshu Sambyal (CCTC, Samba), Monika Kumari (TTI, Pathankot) and others.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Shri Uchit Singhal congratulated the awardees and praised their efforts. He said the achievement shows the division’s commitment to better public service. He also expressed hope that the staff will continue to work with the same energy and passion.
Speaking on the occasion, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Shri Uchit Singhal said, “The PCCM Award is proof of the hard work and strong sense of duty shown by our employees.
