Srinagar, Mar 18 (KNS): Plantation drives were on Monday organised by JV Forest Division Baramulla in collaboration with 40th BN BSF, JNV School, Government High School Gantamulla, Government High School Nowshera, Syed Musa Public School Gantamulla at 40th BN BSF base camp Gantmulla and at Court complex Boniyar.
Munsif Judge Boniyar (Jeewan Kumar Sharma), D F O JV Forest Division Baramulla Pervaiz Ahmad Wani, Commandant 40th BN BSF V K Kasana, Tehsildar Boniyar Imran Ahmad Bhat, Principal JNV School, Teachers, BSF personnels, Forest officials and students actively participated in these drives.
Besides public sale, JV Forest Division Baramulla also distributed 7920 saplings of conifers among different Schools under “One Million Mission”.
The DFO JV Division Baramulla also inspected various developmental works of Boniyar Forest Range and advised concerned contractors and forest officials to achieve their targets within the stipulated time frame. (KNS)
