Srinagar, Jan 09 (KNS): A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) headed by State General Secretary Ganesh Khajuria Tuesday called on State Project Director SSA at his office chamber at Jammu.
The delegation as per the statement issued to KNS apprised him about the miseries faced by the teachers and masters working under SSA.
The director was apprised about the miseries faced by the teachers due to non availability of salaries. The delegation urged upon the SPD to streamline and regulate the salaries of SSA teachers once for all and release the pending salaries at an earliest.
The delegation discussed the issue of B.ed of those teachers who have recently completed their graduation.
SPD gave the patient hearing to all the issues confronted with teachers.
He assured the delegation that the regulation and streamlining of SSA will be made very soon. “Those teachers who have completed the graduation in recent past will be inducted for B.ed,” he assured.
The delegation included M Afzal Bhat provincial President Kashmir, Surat Singh Toofani provincial president Jammu, Jamayat Ali, Bashir Ah Thoker, Pir Nisar Ahmad, M Amin Khan DP Kup and others. (KNS)
