Srinagar Jan 4 (KNS) : JKPC Spokesperson Hamid Rather, an advocate and entrepreneur, on Monday called on JKPC President Sajad Lone at his residence in Sonwar and held a detailed discussion on issues confronting the people of Jammu and Kashmir, with a special focus on youth-related concerns.
In a statement issued, The meeting deliberated at length on the reservation policy, rising unemployment, exorbitant electricity bills, and the long-pending issues of daily wagers, besides other pressing public grievances. JKPC President Sajad Lone emphasised the need for a people-centric approach in policymaking and reiterated the party’s commitment to raising these issues at all appropriate forums. Hamid highlighted the urgency of addressing everyday hardships faced by common citizens and stressed that JKPC would continue to voice public concerns forcefully.
The meeting concluded with a resolve to intensify engagement with the people and work towards meaningful solutions to safeguard their rights and interests.(KNS)
