Srinagar, Aug 29 (KNS): The J&K BOSE on Wednesday conducted an important meeting of the State Affiliation Committee in the Office Chambers of the Secretary to Government, Department of School Education.
In today’s Affiliation Committee meeting, the Committee granted extension in affiliation to 65 schools and up-gradation to 10 schools in Kashmir Division, 58 schools and 11 schools of Jammu Division respectively.
The meeting was convened under the convener-ship of Prof. Veena Pandita, Chairperson, JKBOSE and was presided over by Rigzin Sampheal (IAS). The
officers who attended the meeting were R. K. Sangral (KAS), Director, School Education, Jammu, Dr. Farooq Ahmad Peer, Secretary, BOSE, H.R. Pukhroo, Joint Director, DSEK, Syed Abdul Rouf, Joint Secretary (Gen-KD), Savita Anand, Joint Secretary (Gen-JD), Mudasir Kaleem Fazli, Chief Education Officer, Srinagar, Shafqat Javed Chib, Principal, SRML, Jammu, Fatima Shaheen Tak, Principal, GGHSS, Nawakadal, Srinagar, Bilqees Azra, Lecturer, HSS Chanapora, Pradeep Singh Billowria, RO,SIE, Jammu.
It is important to mention that State Affiliation Committee grants extension in affiliation/up-gradation of private schools of the State of J&K.
The meeting takes place when there are sufficient number of cases which are complete in all respects in terms of Govt. SROs which have been issued from time to time.
The list of the institutions granted up-gradation/affiliation will be available on J&KBOSE website within two days. (KNS)
